BioDatAi, a leader in integrated platform technology located in Dallas, has forged new partnerships with Self Pay Medical and Krista Software. These partnerships are expanding the capabilities of BioDatAi’s intelligent and secure platform that allows stakeholders to connect and share real-time data, improving cost transparency and enabling payers to make more informed decisions by integrating BioDatAi’s user-first interoperability with Krista Software’s natural language understanding capabilities and Self Pay Medical’s comprehensive database.
ETT (“Economic Transformation Technologies”) Executive Chairman, Chris Condon, is excited about its subsidiary, BiodatAi Interoperability platform’s new strategic partnership with Self Pay Medical to provide a platform for healthcare price transparency that is intuitive for the consumer to use and easy for healthcare providers to openly share pricing for their services.
“As we work to extend the value of our Interoperability Platform to our healthcare clients, we’ve focused on identifying unique, ‘best-in-class’ technology partners that deliver differentiated capabilities that complement our offering … and we found that with Krista!” says Kelly Cook, CEO of BioDatAi. Cook describes Krista’s intelligent automation platform as “one of the most capable and powerful automation technologies available within healthcare today.”
Leveraging Krista’s natural language understanding (NLU) interface will allow hospitals, providers, patients, and insurers to communicate with greater transparency and operate more cohesively. John Michelson, CEO of Krista Software, anticipates that this partnership is “redefining how interoperability and automation can, and should, be done in healthcare.”
BioDatAi’s broad FHIR-enabled federated data architecture supports the full range of standards used in the healthcare industry. Combining it with Self Pay Medical’s comprehensive pricing database and the power of Krista’s technology to automate the synthesis and presentation of real-time data to payers and healthcare providers will allow them to work tother and make informed decisions with greater confidence and efficiency.
These integrations place relevant information at the fingertips of consumers who can now compare medical providers in their area by procedure and cost before deciding where to receive the care that they need.
Integrating Healthcare Price Database and Portal with BioDatAi’s Intelligent Interoperability Platform will help hospitals comply with the federal Hospital Price Transparency Rule that took effect in 2021. Under 20% of hospitals comply with this rule according to a report released by Patientrightsadvocate.org last January.
Economic Transformation Technologies made headlines in 2020 when the company partnered with Give Life Foundation to roll out an online registry to log patients who had recovered from COVID-19 in order to support national efforts to get Americans back to work.
