About Steven Dotson, DC
Dr. Steven Dotson is proud to call Texas home and is the owner of Cornerstone Health and Wellness, a chiropractic clinic offering acute, corrective, and wellness care. Steve and his beautiful wife, Melanie have been married for twenty years. They have three amazing children: Payton, Ian, and Mia. Steve is an Army Veteran and served seven years as a Military Police officer.
The Army gave him the opportunity to work in other countries such as Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Denmark, Turkey, Italy, Kuwait, and Iraq. At the request of his mother, he left the Army to help with the family business. Steve always had the desire to work in healthcare and decided to become a physical therapist. That direction changed while visiting family in Vietnam.
After a few days of being in the country, he contracted the flu. He felt as if he was on his death bed. He was treated by an uncle with acupuncture, cupping, Gua Sha, hydration, and adjustments. It was the spinal adjustments that made him feel instant relief and, in that moment, he found chiropractic care to be the vehicle to his life’s purpose.
“The doctor of the future will give no medicine, but will interest his patient in the care of the human frame, in diet, and in the cause and prevention of disease” – THOMAS EDISON
